It has been a long time since any photos have been posted here. Amber still enjoys taking pictures, but for some reason or another, nothing has been posted here in quite a while. In the meantime, Amber's life has undergone some big changes. Her father found work with the US government, so she left the land of her birth, Taiwan, and moved to Washington, D.C. Amber enjoyed living in the U.S., but Daddy's work has necessitated a move back to Asia, this time to China - or to be more specific, Shanghai. She likes the city, her new school and her new friends. So keep checking this page, as she start taking more and more pictures.

Today, Amber and her old man visited the Shanghai Ocean Aquarium. She had a great time there, and was inspired enough to grab Dad's camera and take these shots:

Amber went with her mother and father on Tuesday and Wednesday up to Taipei (Amber's dad wrote about the trip on his http://kaminoge.blogspot.com/2012/03/visatations.html, and waited patiently at the AIT while Mommy had her Green Card (approved!). Afterward, she and her parents visited the Pavilion of Dreams at the Taipei Expo Park. Amber had a great time there, and was excited to get her "dream flower". She took photos of both hers (blue) and her mother's (green):

Amber occasionally does some modeling for a kids clothing company in Taichung. Yesterday she had a session, and at the end she was given a cute little carry bag. This evening in the local A-Mart, she decided to take a couple of pictures of it after dinner:

While she was it, she took a picture of Dad as well:

Rainy weather and a broken front door lock meant Amber had to stay home this afternoon instead of going outside to ride her bike or go swimming at an indoor pool. Still, she did take these pictures of a blossoming cherry tree when she and her dad went outside to pick up some lunch from the convenience store.

Amber hasn't been taking many photographs lately, but today she was inspired by what she saw inside the terminal of Taichung Airport. No, she wasn't planning on flying anywhere, but she and her father were in the area and decided to stop by and have a look. Due to bad weather in the Taiwan Strait, a number of flights had been canceled or delayed, and the building was filled with a lot of people waiting for things to clear up so they could board their planes.

Dad gave blood this afternoon, and Amber took some photos of the action. She even managed to capture the look of pain on Dad's face as the needle was stuck in his arm.

Amber hasn't been taking too many pictures of late. However, on Sunday afternoon she ventured into downtown Taichung with her parents, and took this photo of Zhongzheng Road from the second floor of a steak restaurant where she had lunch.
